NEW RELEASE!
If you can’t wait to get out when the weather turns nice, you’ll find these fellows both good company and good inspiration. Check out my latest novel below, available at links as marked. Join Chasten Frasier, a YouTube star, on his hunt for elusive morel mushrooms while he helps Gregor Ivansky recover so he can continue on with his professional hockey career. The woods bring them close. Diverging life obligations will either clarify their goals and their desires – or they will tear them apart.
A brand-new book in the Gentlemen of Heron Creek series will spring to life in August, right before the New York State apple season!
FREE FICTION FRIDAY is updated! To read this first-contact, eco sci-fi story that has been newly released this week, click the FREE FICTION FRIDAY tab in the upper bar. The stories stay up for one week only, barring exceptions (like me forgetting to let my newsletter know…GRIN)

Mugen Press We’ve been publishing romance, sci-fi, urban fantasy, and various stories of dastardly crime since 2012. Most stories are cross-genre – therefore you’ll find not only upfront romance or crime suspense, but also weird stories and speculative fiction that seems to defy classification.
If you like characters from diverse backgrounds who get up to all kinds of hijinks, scroll through the book section or the bookstore! Pay attention to the blurbs: they tell you whether you’re considering a crime fiction, a romance, or whether the romance is straight or gay.
Romance is self-explanatory. Crime will not have romance unless otherwise specified. Characters in non-romance stories don’t spell out how they swing unless it’s relevant to the plot – just like in real life. Most of the time, though, it’s just people in a situation with a twist. Just like you and I.
Free stories appear on Free Story Friday, and stay up for one week. If you miss out, those stories are available for purchase.
